Numbers 7:79 NLT
“His offering consisted of a silver platter weighing 3-1/4 pounds and a silver basin weighing 1-3/4 pounds (as measured by the weight of the sanctuary shekel). These were both filled with grain offerings of choice flour moistened with olive oil.”
Dependable and trustworthy support
Did you know that your actions can directly influence or impede someone else’s worship plan? For instance, the extensive behind-the-scenes efforts during a live-stream church service are vital. The reason the audio is crisp and the video is sharp is that audiovisual engineers closely monitor every aspect, resulting in excellent audio quality that enhances the congregation’s overall experience. Essentially, the seamless execution of a live-stream church service depends on the coordinated efforts of multiple roles, not solely the preacher.
In the same vein, the referenced scripture alludes to others’ involvement in the dedication offering, particularly the silver platter and basin that Ahira, son of Enan, presented to Moses. Since the scripture does not specify that Ahira, son of Enan, personally crafted these items, it is reasonable to infer that someone else was responsible for their fabrication. Additionally, it remains unknown whether Ahira verified the weight and quality of these items at the time of purchase; however, we do know that Moses found no discrepancies or defects, implying that the artisans produced high-quality work. Friends, is your support reliable and trustworthy?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I pray that I will fully commit my support to every endeavour that aims to bring glory to You, ensuring that my actions are dependable and consistent in Your worship. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
