Numbers 7:78 NLT
“On the twelfth day Ahira son of Enan, leader of the tribe of Naphtali, presented his offering.”
On the twelfth day
A while ago, I came across a phrase that said, “Until it’s my turn, I will keep clapping for others.” This mindset of continuing to support others stems from the belief that one’s time will come. In scripture, we see that Ahira, son of Enan, brought his offering on the twelfth day. It is very likely that Ahira was there from the very beginning through day twelve and was never eager to jump ahead or bring his offering early; instead, he supported those presenting their offerings. Waiting didn’t shake his resolve or make him abandon his plan. Friends, your moment will arrive, so stay ready. The twelfth day may have felt like it dragged on for Ahira, but eventually, it came to pass. When the time came to present his offering, we read that Ahira, son of Enan, did so. He didn’t miss his chance due to sickness or death—on that day, he was the one who made the offering, with no one stepping in for him.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I pray that You would empower me to fulfill every good plan You have placed in my heart, whether it is to be accomplished today or in the future. Please let nothing hinder or rob me of realizing these plans fully for Your glorious name and honour. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
