Right your wrongs with God
Humans often show reluctance to admit fault, preferring to shift blame onto others. A biblical example is Adam, who refused to accept responsibility for his actions and instead blamed God or Eve, who blamed the serpent. This tendency to deny wrongdoing prevents seeking forgiveness, which cannot occur without acknowledgment. In the referenced scripture, we read that Ahiezer brought a male goat for a sin offering. Such a specific offering indicates that Ahiezer recognized his shortcomings and understood the need to atone for sins to reconcile with God. If he had considered himself entirely innocent, there would have been no need for a sin offering. By presenting the male goat, Ahiezer demonstrated humility and awareness of his imperfections, seeking forgiveness from God. Friends, righting one’s wrong isn’t associated with anything other than the blood of Jesus, as His sacrifice is unique and all-encompassing, covering all sins once and for all.

Heavenly Father, I come to You for forgiveness. Please have mercy and forgive me because of Jesus’s blood. Amen.
