Strong Tower: A Daily Scripture Reflection

Numbers 7:69 NLT
“He brought a young bull, a ram, and a one-year-old male lamb for a burnt offering,”
Not for listing’s sake
Even though there was no difference in the offerings that tribal leaders brought for the dedication of the Tabernacle, Moses didn’t use it as an excuse to lump them together. Instead, Moses reported them individually and associated them with respective tribal leaders. In essence, Moses showed proper respect by acknowledging each tribal leader’s contribution. On another note, the scriptures do not mention Moses praising any of the leaders for the dedication offering, including Ahiezer, nor do they record any dissatisfaction from the leaders about this lack of praise. Friends, while our good deeds might go unrecognized by people, which is perfectly okay; however, remember that God never forgets anyone’s labour of love.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, please help me to treat every person I encounter with dignity and respect, recognizing their inherent worth as Your creation. Guide me to always look unto You for my true source of praise and affirmation, rather than seeking validation from others. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
