Numbers 7:32

Strong Tower: A daily scripture reflection.

Numbers 7:32 NLT
“He also brought a gold container weighing four ounces, which was filled with incense.”

Who are your influencers?
The people within our circle of influence can significantly shape our behaviour and decisions. It is no surprise, then, that scripture warns us that evil company corrupts good manners (1 Corinthians 15:33), while positive communication helps cultivate virtuous conduct (Proverbs 27:17). Elizur’s mannerisms were undoubtedly shaped by factors such as the company he kept and the influencers around him. His unwavering approach in presenting offerings to the Lord, as recorded by Moses, underscores the integrity and conviction of these tribal leaders. Friends, consider whether your relationships are truly centred on obeying God’s will or instead foster disobedience and neglect. Just as Elizur’s offerings underwent scrutiny and were displayed openly for all to see, so too will the Holy Spirit reveal the true content of our sacrifices and motives at all times, ensuring accountability before God.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, please guide me in managing my network so that it stays aligned with You and doesn’t lead me away from Your path. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
