Numbers 7:65 NLT
“For a peace offering he brought two bulls, five rams, five male goats, and five one-year-old male lambs. This was the offering brought by Abidan son of Gideoni.”
No alteration
When Abidan presented the animals listed in the referenced scripture, he made their purpose clear. With this clarification, Moses knew exactly what to do with them. Just as Abidan intended, the animals were meant for a peace offering, and Moses faithfully fulfilled this divine purpose. In essence, Moses didn’t alter the purpose of what Abidan had brought to the Lord, demonstrating his integrity and his desire for Abidan to experience the deep peace with God he longed for. Friends, are you actively engaging and supporting others as they strive to find peace in and with God?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, please guide me never to manipulate others away from You, but instead help them to find peace with You and find peace in You. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
