Numbers 7:63 NLT
“He brought a young bull, a ram, and a one-year-old male lamb for a burnt offering,”
No ambiguity
There is a compelling reason to believe that Abidan engaged in a direct conversation with Moses. Through this dialogue, Moses gained a clear understanding of the purpose of the young bull, ram, and one-year-old male lamb that Abidan brought. Abidan’s explanation eliminated any ambiguity and eased Moses’s responsibilities, as he no longer had to deduce the essence on his own. Additionally, Moses’s willingness to converse openly with Abidan demonstrates his humility and his approachability, indicating that he did not consider himself superior to the community members he was guiding and overseeing. Friends, are you easing people’s responsibilities or are you burdening them with additional tasks and expectations that may overwhelm or stress them?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, may my actions ease the responsibilities of others and not add unnecessary tasks that will overwhelm or stress them. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
