Numbers 7:18 NLT
“On the second day Nethanel son of Zuar, leader of the tribe of Issachar, presented his offering.”
On the second day
Did you know that the time designated by God for each person to receive their blessings will ultimately come to pass? The important question is: what are you doing while you wait for your turn to be blessed? The most constructive approach, as someone succinctly expressed, is to clap for others or, even better, to celebrate those whose appointed time to receive their blessings has arrived.
In the referenced scripture, there is no gap or delay indicated between the time Nahshon brought his offering and the moment Nethanel son of Zuar did the same. The fact that Nethanel presented his offering immediately after the previous tribal leader suggests that he not only rejoiced for others but also exercised patience, waiting for his own appointed time. Additionally, presenting his offering on the second day does not imply that his offering was of inferior quality; rather, it demonstrates his readiness and faithfulness to follow divine timing and command.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, please help me to accept Your divine timing for my advancement, trusting that it will occur at the perfect moment according to Your plan and purpose for my life and that You don’t condescend to my thanks just because it comes after another person’s. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
