Strong Tower: A Daily Scripture Reflection
Friday, October 9, 2026
Numbers 10:34 NLT
“As they moved on each day, the cloud of the LORD hovered over them.”
As they moved on each day
Every movement God commissions is accompanied by His presence and guidance. In the scripture referenced, we see the Israelites ready to move forward. The phrase “as they moved on” suggests they did not need persuasion or coaxing to take the next step. Friends, when you know what the Lord requires of you, do not wait for someone else to persuade you before obeying. Their consistency offers another lesson: Scripture says they moved forward each day. No one chose to stay behind; all were prepared to continue their journey. As they travelled, it was not just any cloud that hovered over them—it was the cloud of the LORD, a visible sign of His presence and guidance. Friends, as you journey, do not ask merely for a cloud; ask for the cloud of the LORD.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, please strengthen me every day with every strength from Your throne so that I will gracefully carry out every assigned task. More importantly, let no cloud except the one You dwell in hover over me. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
