Strong Tower: A Daily Scripture Reflection

Numbers 10:33 NLT
“They marched for three days after leaving the mountain of the LORD, with the Ark of the LORD’s Covenant moving ahead of them to show them where to stop and rest.”
Showing them where to stop and rest
Throughout Israel’s journey through the wilderness, the Lord took an active role rather than staying in the background. Scripture tells us that the Ark of the LORD’s Covenant went ahead of the people, doing what Moses thought only a human guide could do: showing them where to stop and rest. The Ark did not stop at random locations; it paused at places where the Israelites could find rest. Friends, the Lord always has your best interests at heart and will never drive you beyond what is humane. He will make sure you find the rest you need. So come to Him, and He will give you rest (Matthew 11:28).
Prayer
Heavenly Father, You know the places and circumstances where I can find true rest. Please guide me there, quiet my urge to complain, and help me receive what You provide with gratitude. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
