Strong Tower: A Daily Scripture Reflection

Numbers 10:33 NLT
“They marched for three days after leaving the mountain of the LORD, with the Ark of the LORD’s Covenant moving ahead of them to show them where to stop and rest.”
The Loving God
Imagine turning down help from someone who is both able and willing to assist because you believe you have another option. But what if that option fails? Would the person who first offered help still be willing to assist, or would they consider the offer expired? If the helper were human, the latter might be true. But if the helper were God, you might be surprised to find that He would still be glad to help. As the all-knowing God, He knew that Moses—and, by extension, the people of Israel—had subtly rejected His leadership by looking to Hobab for guidance. Yet when it was time to set out, the I AM WHO I AM did not abandon them. He remained faithful to His promise and continued to guide His people. Friends, God is loving, and nothing you do, pursue, feel, or say can keep Him from loving you. Learn to love Him in return.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, please forgive me for the ways, however subtle, that I have resisted the direction You offer. I come to You with an open heart; please guide my steps, and I will follow where You lead. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
