Strong Tower: A Daily Scripture Reflection

Numbers 10:33 NLT
“They marched for three days after leaving the mountain of the LORD, with the Ark of the LORD’s Covenant moving ahead of them to show them where to stop and rest.”
The Ark of the LORD’s Covenant
When people say no, do you let their answer keep you from doing what God has called you to do, or do you move forward, trusting Him to guide you safely? Israel’s journey to the Promised Land shows the Ark of the LORD’s Covenant leading the way, suggesting that Hobab did not ultimately change his mind. The Ark was neither at the rear nor in the middle of the procession; it went ahead of them. But the Ark did not put itself at the front—the Israelites chose to place it there. Friends, where have you placed Jesus on your life’s journey? Is He leading the way and guiding your decisions, or have you pushed Him to the back burner?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, please guide my thoughts, decisions, and actions, and give me the strength to follow where You lead. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
