Numbers 10:3 NLT
“When both trumpets are blown, everyone must gather before you at the entrance of the Tabernacle.”
Invitation to draw nearer
God does not leave anyone uncertain about their responsibilities in any task. Instead, He provides explicit and detailed guidance, ensuring there are no ambiguous or conflicting instructions. In the referenced scripture, I AM WHO I AM specifically instructed Moses on the correct way to use the trumpets once they were crafted. These trumpets are designated for specific purposes: blowing them signals different events or commands. When two trumpets are sounded together, all individuals—whether priests, Levites, native-born Israelites, or foreigners residing among them—must gather before Moses at the entrance of the Tabernacle. This requirement applies to people of all ages; children and elders alike are expected to attend. Furthermore, being ceremonially unclean does not justify anyone skipping the summons. Friend, God’s care for you remains steadfast, regardless of how unworthy you may feel. His call is inclusive, extended to everyone—so do not refuse your Creator or dismiss His invitation to draw nearer to Him.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, may I never allow anything—be it distractions, doubts, or worldly concerns—to prevent me from drawing nearer to You. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
