The Lord said to Moses
A Google search reveals a compelling detail: the phrase “the Lord said to Moses” appears about 150 to 180 times in the Old Testament, with a noticeably higher frequency in Leviticus and Numbers. It is noteworthy that Scripture never records “Satan or the devil said to Moses,” not because the devil never attempted such communication—indeed, he did with Adam and Eve—but because Moses leaves no explicit space for such. Friends, are you making room for the Lord to speak with you, just as He did countless times with Moses? The Lord continues to communicate today through the Holy Spirit; however, it is your responsibility to prepare your heart and mind to listen and receive His guidance. As we begin September 2026 through the Lord’s mercy, make room for God to speak with you.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me see clearly what I need to improve to maintain continuous communication with You. Most importantly, guide me to take decisive action in any area that could block the free flow of communication from You. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
