It is always a source of joy when people act uniformly, especially when dedicated to God’s glory and honour. One can only imagine how pleased Moses was with the tribal leaders. In the referenced scripture, Moses highlighted that all the containers were made of pure gold, exactly as the Lord had desired. Not a single tribal leader brought a container made from any other material. Friends, none of the leaders was an outlier; it is important not to be one when the matter concerns God.
Another point Moses noted is that none of the leaders presented a gold container filled with half-filled incense or a container filled with adulterated incense. Instead, they brought gold containers filled with the correct, pure type of incense. If they had brought containers filled with adulterated or inferior incense, those responsible for burning incense would have risked incurring God’s wrath. Consequently, their proper actions ensured that those who burned incense would not face divine condemnation. Friends, through your actions, are you helping others to stand rightly before God?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I pray that my daily actions, choices, and attitudes will not cause others to incur Your wrath but instead invite Your blessings and mercy into their lives. May my words and deeds reflect Your love and compassion, fostering understanding and grace. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
