Numbers 6:27 NLT
“Whenever Aaron and his sons bless the people of Israel in my name, I myself will bless them.”

Despite his past
In one’s walk with the Lord, it is crucial to operate within the authority He has given. Clearly, it was Moses whom God chose to lead the Israelites out of bondage in Egypt, demonstrating divine delegation of authority. However, God did not empower Moses to pronounce blessings upon Israel; instead, He specifically authorized Aaron and his sons to bless the people, underscoring the importance of divine appointment. Interestingly, God’s focus was on Aaron’s role, despite his earlier mistake in fashioning the golden calf. God did not reject him or hold his past errors against him; He was prepared to restore Aaron and his descendants fully to His service. Friends, your mistakes are not beyond God’s forgiveness—He can erase sins and still call you to serve in His kingdom, no matter the past.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding me through Your word that You are not just loving in words but loving in deeds—by not dismissing Aaron because of his past mistakes. Instead, You uplifted him and his sons, giving them noble responsibilities to represent You. Please help me not to disappoint You in any role You have appointed me to. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
