“If the cloud remained over the Tabernacle for a long time, the Israelites stayed and performed their duty to the Lord.”
Still on duty
In the referenced scripture, we learn that the people of Israel did not complain or grow impatient when the divine cloud covering the Tabernacle lingered for an extended period. They did not interpret this prolonged delay as a sign to become restless or disobedient. Instead, the Israelites continued to fulfill their responsibilities and duties to the Lord faithfully. To them, every day was an opportunity to serve and honour God without exception. Friends, let this remind you: do not become complacent or lax in your service to the Lord, regardless of the circumstances you face.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, please help me to remain obedient and faithful regardless of challenging circumstances or difficult situations I may face. Help me to understand and trust in Your timing. Grant me patience and unwavering faith in Your promises. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
