This was the regular pattern
On May 28, 2026, at 1:20 pm, I observed a rare atmospheric phenomenon at Foothills Athletic Park in Calgary: a U-shaped rainbow arching across the sky. Intrigued by its unusual pattern, I quickly photographed it. The next day, when I was at the same location to continue the previous day’s events, I saw that the sky was clear of any U-shaped rainbow. This indicated a transient optical event rather than a regular occurrence. In the referenced scripture, Moses described the covering of the Tabernacle, noting it was not a one-time phenomenon but a nightly occurrence as the Israelites wandered in the wilderness. This suggests that God’s presence was continuously with the people in the camp, manifesting visibly at night. The consistent visibility of this divine presence at night symbolized reassurance, alleviating the Israelites’ fears of darkness and emphasizing divine protection. Friends, the Holy Spirit isn’t just with you and me at night, but is constantly present, providing guidance and comfort at all times. Therefore, let us rejoice in this divine presence and choose not to live in fear of the evils that may occur during the day or the night.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I earnestly seek Your enduring and comforting Presence; I humbly ask that You do not turn away from me. Whether it is during the busy hours of the day or the quiet moments of the night, please remain close to me to soothe my fears and bring me peace. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
