Strong Tower: A Daily Scripture Reflection

Numbers 7:39 NLT
“He brought a young bull, a ram, and a one-year-old male lamb for a burnt offering,”
For a burnt offering
There is no doubt that Shelumiel was thoroughly prepared for his sacred quest, as evidenced by his careful selection of specific items outlined in the referenced scripture, designated for a particular divine purpose. In particular, he intentionally brought forth a young bull, a ram, and a one-year-old male lamb, presenting them to Moses, who then meticulously directed their use in a burnt offering. His choice of animals wasn’t arbitrary; it was more likely rooted in his deep love and reverence for the Creator of heaven and earth, reflecting his devotion and understanding of sacrificial rites. Our disposition to God is a reflection of who we think He is to us. Friends, who is God to you?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, please help me to be intentional in worshipping You with gladness every day, embracing each moment with gratitude and devotion throughout my life. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
