Strong Tower: A daily scripture reflection.

Numbers 6:17 NLT
“then the ram for a peace offering, along with the basket of bread made without yeast. The priest must also present the prescribed grain offering and liquid offering to the Lord.”
Offering to the Lord
The gravest mistake one can make is to claim credit for something to which they have contributed nothing. Although this behaviour occurs frequently, it is particularly inappropriate for those who believe that God is not only their Creator but also their Father, and therefore deserving of humility and integrity. In previous verses, we read that anyone who completes the Nazarite vow must present specific offerings to the Lord—such as a lamb without blemish for a sin offering, fine grain or flour mixed with oil, and a drink offering of wine or strong drink.
Since Nazarites do not have the authority to offer these sacrifices themselves, they must go through a priest, trusting that he will handle them properly and ensure they are offered according to God’s instructions. In today’s scripture, the Lord emphasizes that the priest must diligently and meticulously offer the Nazarite’s sacrifices, without neglect or haphazardness. Friends, can you be trusted to do the right thing when no one is watching, especially in matters of faith and integrity, knowing that your actions reflect your relationship with God and may rub off on others?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, please help me to offer pure and heartfelt sacrifices, dedicating my actions and intentions through the guidance and strength of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
