Numbers 4:21 NLT
“And the Lord said to Moses,”

An inseparable bond
Jews hold Moses in exceptionally high regard, not because he was one of the wealthiest individuals of his time, but due to his unparalleled relationship with God. Throughout the Torah, the first five books of the Bible, there are many instances in which God and Moses are mentioned together, illustrating the profound connection between them. For example, during moments of divine revelation, such as at the burning bush and at the giving of the Ten Commandments, Moses is a central figure, representing humanity’s dialogue with the divine.

Once the Lord called upon him, Moses became a constant presence in the narrative of God’s interactions with the Israelites, appearing in every significant event where the Lord’s name was invoked. Most of these instances depict Moses in a positive light, highlighting his humility, obedience, and dedication to his mission. His role as a mediator between God and the people underscores the importance of faith and leadership.

When you strive to live in a way that pleases the I AM WHO I AM, you cultivate an inseparable bond with the divine. This relationship, marked by trust, reverence, and commitment, leads not only to personal fulfillment but also to a greater sense of purpose and direction in life.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, I humbly pray for the strength to remain connected to the relationship You have lovingly established with me. May I never stray from the bond of faith and trust that we share, and may I continually seek Your guidance and presence in every aspect of my life. Help me to nurture this connection, reminding me of Your unwavering love and support, and encouraging me to grow in faith and understanding daily. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
