“Eleazar son of Aaron the priest will be responsible for the oil of the lampstand, the fragrant incense, the daily grain offering, and the anointing oil. In fact, Eleazar will be responsible for the entire Tabernacle and everything in it, including the sanctuary and its furnishings.”
Be focused
I have come to realize that while understanding what actions to take is essential, it is imperative to translate that knowledge into meaningful action. This may seem straightforward, but applying it effectively requires deliberate focus and commitment. In the context of the referenced scripture, Eleazar was tasked with the significant responsibility of overseeing the needs of the Tabernacle. This role demanded that he remain ever-vigilant, as complacency could lead to critical oversights that might jeopardize the holiness and sanctity of the place of worship.
Dear friends, your willingness to maintain unwavering focus in your duties is crucial, especially when you aspire to honour THE I AM WHO I AM. It’s essential to reflect on your current state: Are you truly focused on the divine responsibilities entrusted to you, or have distractions—whether they stem from the chaos of daily life, social media, or other obligations—pulled your attention away from fulfilling your spiritual duties? This introspection can be the key to unlocking your potential and deepening your relationship with God.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, please help me stay focused on my duties in Your vineyard and avoid distractions that prevent me from fulfilling them. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
