Leviticus 7:11 NLT
“These are the instructions regarding the different kinds of peace offerings that may be presented to the Lord.”
Nothing was hidden
The law had specific instructions for peace offerings, including ones for Thanksgiving and fulfilling vows. God’s love allowed these instructions to become known to the priests and offerors, helping them to handle each offering appropriately. If the instructions were followed, the sacrifices would not be in vain. However, if anyone disregarded them, God could not be held responsible for rejecting the sacrifice. Thankfully, all the instructions for different peace offerings were fulfilled in Christ Jesus. He is the Son of God and our source of accepted Thanksgiving and vows before God.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I believe in Your ability to communicate with Your children. Guide me with clarity so that I can follow Your instructions with a faithful heart. I humbly pray in the name of Jesus, amen.
