Leviticus 2:8 NLT
“No matter how a grain offering for the Lord has been prepared, bring it to the priest, who will present it at the altar.”
No matter how
George Orwell’s Animal Farm states, all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others. The allegory suggests hypocrisy! However, such is not the case with God because He speaks with no hidden connotations. Hence, the clause, no matter how, has the same meaning for both the high and low, the rich and poor. The clause indicates that the playing ground is level for all. In today’s referenced scripture, the King of glory iterated to Moses that no preparatory method was better or inferior to another to the extent that the priest must not be involved. The significance of the priest could not be overemphasized. The offeror could not bring it to God by themselves. Note that the scripture did not pluralize the word, priest. The instruction was a representation of the future. Jesus is the priest, and without His involvement, no sacrifice of Thanksgiving and praises will receive God’s mark of approval.

Heavenly Father, You are impartial in all that You do. Please help me to act likewise. In Jesus’s name, amen.
