Leviticus 17:2 NLT
“Give the following instructions to Aaron and his sons and all the people of Israel. This is what the Lord has commanded.”
Meant for all
In today’s scripture, we gain valuable insight for living. It begins with the Lord’s instructions to Moses, emphasizing that these instructions were meant to be shared freely, not kept secret. The beneficiaries of these instructions were not just a select few but also Aaron, his sons, and all the people of Israel, which meant that Moses himself was required to adhere to them.
Finally, Moses stressed that these instructions were from God. This serves as a reminder to all of us that we should never hesitate to attribute guidance received from God in the presence of His people, just as Moses did. When God is the source of any direction, we should boldly acknowledge it.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that I will boldly declare Your instructions to everyone, including myself. In Jesus’s name, I pray. Amen.
