Exodus 40:9 NLT
“Take the anointing oil and anoint the Tabernacle and all its furnishings to consecrate them and make them holy.”
Make them holy
Walking with God requires one thing. It requires allowing Him to lead at all times. Moses demonstrated the attribute because he waited on God’s instruction regarding how each of the items should be arranged. One thing was clear. Moses was the only one assigned to anoint the Tabernacle and all its furnishings, and it was because God trusted that Moses would not do a shoddy job but that he would be meticulous and conscientious about the assignment. Not until Moses consecrated the Tabernacle and its furnishings that they had divine value. Friends, Moses’s contact with the objects changed them forever for God’s glory. What does your contact do? Does it bring glory to God, add holiness to others or the other way around?
Prayer
Gracious Father, please help me to impact people I come across positively to the glory of Your name. In Jesus’s name. Amen.
