Exodus 40:25 NLT
“Then he lit the lamps in the Lord’s presence, just as the Lord had commanded him.”
In the Lord’s presence
What do you do in the Lord’s presence? Are they endeavors that others can emulate or steer clear from copying? The activity of Moses while in the Lord’s presence was commendable. Today’s referenced scripture indicates that he lit the lamps in God’s presence. He didn’t ‘preload’ as is the case with smartphone apps. Moses’s action ensured that there was illumination in the Tabernacle. It is unfortunate today that many sniff out the ‘lamps’ instead of lighting them, even in the presence of the Most High God. Friends, where do you belong? Concerning the lamps, God required that Moses lit them in His presence, and that was what he did. Friends, there might be other ways of attending to divine matters, but they never give peace of mind and commendation except when we follow God all the way!

Everlasting King, may I never sniff out the light of righteousness but always be the light as the Only Begotten Son instructed, amen.
