Leviticus 7:13-14 NLT
“This peace offering of thanksgiving must also be accompanied by loaves of bread made with yeast. “One of each kind of bread must be presented as a gift to the Lord. It will then belong to the priest who splatters the blood of the peace offering against the altar.”
What is man?
Today’s scripture beautifully portrays God’s love and concern for His priests. It’s noteworthy how He permits them to eat bread with yeast, which was not fit for offering on the altar. This act of kindness and generosity demonstrates God’s caring nature towards those who serve Him. It reminds us that God’s love extends beyond the law, and He always thinks about the welfare of His priests. It’s safe to assume that His attitude towards them has not changed, and He remains their faithful provider. This scripture is a testament to God’s unwavering love for His people, and it’s an inspiring message for everyone, especially those in service to Him.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I am grateful for Your constant care and concern for me. Thank You for always thinking of me and providing for my needs. I ask that You continue to guide me and help me to follow Your will in all that I do. In Jesus’s name, I pray. Amen.
