Draw nearer to God
Today’s scripture referenced is short but reveals a profound insight into Moses’s relationship with the Lord. It shows that when we draw nearer to God, He draws nearer to us. If Moses had not been present and open to God, he might have missed out on this opportunity. It also highlights the importance of recognizing God’s voice, which requires ongoing communication. Although God had to introduce Himself to Moses initially at Mount Sinai, he recognized God’s voice without further introductions afterwards. Therefore, we should strive to deepen our relationship with God so that He may draw closer to us.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, please help me to draw near to You, and please draw near to me. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
