Leviticus 3:6 NLT
“If you present an animal from the flock as a peace offering to the Lord, it may be a male or a female, but it must have no defects.”
No defects
God is not picky, and if He were to be, He wouldn’t have stated that the animal for the peace offering could be either a male or a female. The point here is that, whether male or female, we are not exempted from seeking peace with our Maker. Although God wasn’t particular about the gender of the peace offering animal, He didn’t mince words about the quality of what to offer. God told Moses to inform everyone that the peace-offering animal from the flock must have no defect! If there were no propensity to give animals with defects, God wouldn’t have reiterated that such must not be offered. Dear friends, to please God is just to do want He desires.
Prayer
Lord of all creations, please help me always to do what You desire. In Jesus’s name, amen.
