“He hung the curtain at the entrance of the Tabernacle,”
Another checkpoint
One of the purposes of checkpoints is to enforce or control movements. And one could surmise that the same principle was behind the curtains hung at the entrance of the Tabernacle. An essential element of the Tabernacle is that it was categorized, and the categorizations placed restrictions meaning everyone could not visit anywhere. Having the curtain at the entrance was more of a warning sign to anyone to check whether or not they had the authorization before going through. If not for Jesus, none of us would have the pass to minister except Aaron’s descendants. What a privilege we have in Jesus, who removed all checkpoints and gave us free access to the Father!

Everlasting King, thank You for granting me access to You through the blood of Jesus, amen.
