Exodus 39:31 NLT
“They attached the medallion with a blue cord to Aaron’s turban, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.”
Aaron’s turban
Unlike the turbans, which could have been made for Aaron’s sons or all the priests – only Aaron’s turban or the chief priest’s turban for any year could have the holy medallion attached to it. The medallion set Aaron and any other high priest apart and granted them access, and as small as the badge was, Aaron dared not go into God’s presence without its attachment to his turban. Another thing to note about the medallion was that since it was made out of fabric, it would not last forever. In other words, there would be instances when it would wear out or need a replacement, but the blood of Jesus Christ does not wear out or fade off, and it does not require any replacement; because we have been redeemed through it, and we become holy.
Prayer
My Father and my God, thank You for the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed for me on the cross. Accept my thank, in In Jesus’s name, amen.
