It is for my own benefit
Artisans depend on referrals, but if they fail to produce as instructed, the prospect of getting any additional referrals is as good as done. However, if the artisan’s output wows the clients, such an artisan will win more orders and have repeated customers. Perhaps Bezalel felt comfortable committing more significant tasks to the artisans because they didn’t disappoint with the previous task. The trust was so high that Bezalel felt comfortable assigning the making of two settings of gold filigree and two gold rings to them. One thing is that the making of gold filigree is delicate and consequently requires excellent skills and care. Friends, how do you utilize your ability? Is it to the fullest potential or haphazardly? The truth is that anyone who diligently uses their talents stands the chance of getting more entrusted with higher responsibility and vice versa (Matthew 25:14-30).

My Father and my God, please help me to understand that using my talent very well is for my own benefit. In Jesus’s name, amen.
