“Then the Lord said to Moses,”
Are you in the ready mode?
A problem that no one wants to face in any relationship is the silent treatment. In Moses’ life, there was no trace of this issue between him and God, mainly because Moses did not allow it to happen. It’s important to note that God kept speaking to Moses not because He had no choice; the biblical scholars and historians estimated that between 2 and 3 million people were freed from Egypt and went with Moses. So there was no shortage of people, but there was a shortage of those willing to dedicate their lives to the Alpha and Omega. Moses was a man who didn’t follow a regimented schedule; instead, he met with God at any time and was never disappointed, because the Lord was always ready to speak with him. Friends, note that scripture doesn’t say these encounters happened after any spiritual exercise, which reflects that Moses was always in a state of readiness for God. Are you in a state of readiness for God?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, please open my eyes to anything in my life that prevents You from speaking to me, and grant me the humility to address them. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
