Prayerwing Ministry
The Chapel of Glory Ministry -aka Cherubim and Seraphim church- PrayerWing group exists to pray for the church and its growth, its members, and to evangelize the gospel of God, according to Isaiah 61:1-3 and Matthew 28:19-20. Each member of the unit is expected to live a life that is consistent with biblical standards in the following:
1. To love and serve others (John 13:34:35, Romans 12:6-8). Serving is the paramount way to display love as commanded by Christ. As a prayer group, we have a prayer line where all members are expected to join for prayer sessions on Fridays and Saturdays from 5:35 am to 5:50 am, which is usually anchored by a group member each week. Impromptu prayer meetings also occur at any time.
2. Each member is expected to live a life that is consistent with the scriptures and refrain from following the desires of our sinful nature (Galatians 5: 19-21).
3. Each member is expected to maintain the highest ethical standards in the ministry and personal life (Titus 3:2-7). Attending and participating in prayer sessions and not disseminating the church members’ prayer requests or information that violates any individual’s sense of privacy.
4. To be examples of Christ in overall life in speech, faith, love, and passion (1 Thessalonians 4:7)
5. To fellowship with one another, building each other up with encouraging speech, supportive actions, and prayer and supplications.
6. To abstain from gossip, slander, or a critical attitude, but rather focus on Christ, the author, and the finisher of our faith.
7. Membership of the prayer group shall be through spiritual screening.
