“Now record the names of the members of the clans and families of the Merarite division of the tribe of Levi.”
God’s timing
God’s timing is remarkably unique: it is always perfect, precise, and tailored to His divine plan. Just because some individuals have already received attention or blessings does not mean that your own time will not come. Take, for example, the organizational structure of the Levitical priesthood. The Kohathite and Gershomite divisions of the tribe of Levi had already been assigned specific responsibilities and were under the guidance of appointed supervisors. However, even within this established order, the time came for the members of the Merarite division—the youngest of the Levitical clans—to be acknowledged and recorded.
This timing highlights a profound truth: just as God honoured the other divisions, He ensured that the Merarite clan would not be overlooked. This act of remembrance shows that God does not forget those who are called, regardless of their standing or timing in the grand narrative of His plan. It serves as a reminder of His unwavering attention to each individual’s purpose and place within His divine scheme.

Heavenly Father, please help me understand that You never forget anyone You have called. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
