Leviticus 20:15-16 NLT
“If a man has sex with an animal, he must be put to death, and the animal must be killed. “If a woman presents herself to a male animal to have intercourse with it, she and the animal must both be put to death. You must kill both, for they are guilty of a capital offence.
No statute of limitation
It’s important to remember that the actions spoken against in the above verse are, unfortunately, real, but they have been present for a long time. This reminds us that there is no experience in our world today that does not have a foretelling or example in the histories of the Bible. Since God didn’t approve them then, they remain invalid and are not subject to any statute of limitations.
In today’s world, there are records of people engaging in various forms of sexual sin, which have unfortunately become a common practice for many. As Christians, we must protect our hearts and affections and remain spiritually vigilant, especially for the sake of our children, so that the devil, who prowls like a roaring lion, will not devour that which we hold dear.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, please guard my heart against every and any unnatural affection and sexual immorality and let me remain vigilant through Your word so the devil does not find a domain in my home; in Jesus’s name, Amen.
