Leviticus 20:12 NLT
“If a man has sex with his daughter-in-law, both must be put to death. They have committed a perverse act and are guilty of a capital offence.”

In legal terms, an accessory to a crime assists in its commission. It’s important to note that the term “rape” applies when the act is not consensual. Therefore, the woman consented to the despicable act. Thus, when the Lord declares that both parties must be put to death, it’s essential to recognize that both failed to apply self-control.
It’s important to emphasize that engaging in sexual perversity leads to spiritual and physical harm. In today’s world, as the scripture says, people will lack self-control and pursue pleasure (2 Tim 3:2-4). Men may seek excuses for their perverse pleasures, but these actions only distance them from the love of God.
The only way to stay on the righteous path as Christians is to cling to the Lord and His word and commit to prayer. Speaking out the word of God and rejecting the devil’s temptations is crucial. By rebuking him as Jesus did when tempted, the devil will flee. Confession is made unto salvation with the mouth. Hallelujah!
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I cleave to you. I have no strength of my own, and I ask that You help me so that the devil’s devices will not trap me. In Jesus’s name, amen.
